Welcome to Field Notes
If you've ever stood in your office, looked at a blank wall or a tired lobby, and thought "this should say more about who we are" without any idea where to start, this is for you.
Field Notes is where we write down what we've learned about turning ordinary commercial spaces into places that feel like the company inside them. The name is literal. These are notes from the field: from job sites, from walk-throughs, from the questions clients actually ask when they're standing in a space with a budget, trying to work out what's possible.
Why we're writing it
Most companies treat their space as an afterthought, or they hand it to five different vendors and hope it comes together. We think a space is one of the most underused tools a company has, and that the people who own those spaces rarely get a clear, useful explanation of what's possible and what it takes. So we're writing the explanation.
